Arsenic Lullaby Blog -picking a banner for Comic-Con International

Comic-Con International ( CCI for short ) is less than a week away now...and I have about 60% of what I need done, done. That's enough, really..since most years 40% of what I hope to have/bring/get done...get's Fucked up somehow anyway. But I realized I need a new banner. You can't not have a banner...

I don't remember what happened to the old one...I might have just left it behind, but it looked like this.

Although it was much straighter and nicer looking earlier in the show.

Not that it REALLY matters sine the show is 7 city block longs and 2 deep, and I'm surrounded bu GIANT displays that cost thousands of dollars, not that those are doing thier owners any good because they are surrounded by displays that are even bigger, which are in eye view of ten foot tall Incredible hulk statues, garage sized TV screens, and an entire TWD set complete with professional "extras" dressed as zombies.

The show is a visual clusterf*ck and having a display stand out in anyway is pretty much impossible...there is just TOO....MUCH...SHIT...going on.

I could have a giant fiberglass penis with an automotronic fiberglass doctor circumcising it, and people still wouldn't be able to focus on it for mote than two seconds.

BUT...you have to look professional, and have a nice looking booth. I've narrowed it down to these four. These are just rough mock ups, but you get the idea.

I'm leaning towards the one with the Demon and the kids...although the simplicity of the fetus logo makes sense. I like the one with Voodoo Joe grabbing the kid, but you have to take into account that the bottom third won't be noticed because the table is in the way and such. ( the banner would be 8feet by 10 feet) Anything lower than shoulder high is pretty much not going to be seen.
