Being a fan of the first Venom movie, I am excited for the release of "Venom 2." However, I do have to wait until next fall, as the release is currently scheduled for October 2, 2020. Tom Hardy, who brought justice to Mel Gibson's Mad Max character, did an amazing job as Eddie Brock / Venom. But what is the Marvel Universe with just one Symbiote?
Because most people who frequent Marvel movies know not to leave as the end credits role, many saw Woody Harrelson in prison giving a spoiler that Carnage's appearance will be happening soon. Harrelson, who has a way of making a character his own, will be putting his spin on Cletus Kasady and his killing ways in this second installment. As far as what I was able to find, Carnage made his first appearance in the comics in The Amazing Spider-Man #359. The comics have sometimes referred to Carnage as an offspring of Venom.
These alien parasites known as Symbiotes have played a major role in the comic book storytelling of 2019, with a series of comics based entirely on these characters. While complicated, they are still easier to understand than the entirety of Thor's universe.
