For the past few days I´ve been a Comic Convention and apart from customer service, I´ve literally had time only to sleep and share with you a lot of pictures from the experience.
To be honest I haven´t had enough time to check most of the @Sndbox Art Quest and even though @guyfawkes4-20 could easily select the winners, we want to really put time into it and to choose carefully who will have the opportunity to join the Summer Camp Final Quest. For that reason, I haven´t curated most of the entries but worry not, I will get to it tonight, also we will announce the winners in around a bit later than usually.
Remember you still have time to join this Quest, the deadline is in May the 8th at 11:59 pm PST.

For the @DLive Contest, I am amazed to see how many newbies to DLive have joined, this is amazing and I´ve had some time to watch the videos and curate appropiately but I haven´t had time to select the winners. For that reason and because I will be a bit busy choosing the Sndbox winners, I´m going to give you guys 2 more days to submit an entry. That means you have until May the 8th at 11:59 pm PST to submit an entry to the Contest.

Please, if you have friends who are interested in Art or are video enthusiasts, let them know about these two events where they can express themselves and get some rewards in the process.
I am right now inside my Comic book stand and there´s people already asking prices and if I have X number from Y Series, so I don´t have a lot of time, but what I do have, is more than 30 new pictures I took yesterday from people wearing costumes. This is called Cosplaying and it is one of the most practiced hobbies in the comic, rpg games, vidya and hobbies in general.

Spider - Woman who is Jessica Drew first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #32 cover-dated February 1977. She had her own series Essential Spider-Woman, Vol. 1 but I admit I was not a fan.
Contrary to everyone's thought she is not in anyway a cousin or have any relation to Peter Parker's Spiderman.
Became a bad guy at one point as she was in Hydra under the name Arachne.
Was in Secret Wars and Spider verse story line. I saw more of her in the Secret Wars storyline and from the few Avengers cartoon movies and series that I watched. I admit I am more a DC fan in tv shows and animated movies.

Interesting.... is the reality of cosplay at conventions 50% women in leotards , or is that just a nomad's biased eye? I would have thought it was mainly blokes that attended these events.
