New COMICS & TOYS this week at Comic Shops!!! 11/14/18

Hey there hi there ho there,

Before I start showcasing the usual weekly drivel to the regulars here, I’d like to say hello to any of the new folks that we’re kind enough to throw a follow my way. I met a ton of amazing new people this past week at SteemFest in Krakow and a lot of them might be lost here. Basically every week in the comic world, a slew of new products ranging from the obvious comic books to statues and action figures, puzzles and mugs, and so much more, make their way onto store shelves across the globe. I compile all the new stuff into one handy post weekly so those that are interested can keep up to date with everything for that week. It’s kinda known as New Book Wednesday amongst us and folks are rabid and come in immediately each and every week to get their fix.

Most comics especially from the big 2 publishers known as Marvel and DC are either bi weekly or monthly simply meaning new issues release every 2-4 weeks. A lot of the smaller Independent companies try to keep up to that pace but more often than not, there are delays. Either way, each and every Wednesday, expect a new chunk of goods to hit store shelves at comic shops everywhere.

Welcome to another week of plumping up your nerd boners over a bunch of unnecessary nonsense!!! I’m talking about kick ass Comics and Toys!!! I’m your host @blewitt, and I thank you for joining me on this virtual window shopping experience!!!

This week in the world of Marvel Comics we see new issues of Daredevil and Amazing Spider-Man. Avengers #700 has a gazillion covers along with Uncanny X-Men #1. Golden Child Donnie Cates has a new issue of Venom and one has a tasty Campbell cover that ya might not want to sleep on. Cosmic Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Thor...a lot of the staples are hitting at the same same which means, fork yer cash over bub. Oh and Black Order #1 looks like it could be sweet as well.

DC has a bunch of mainstays as well. New issues of Detective Comics, Flash, and Superman with a sprinkle of Wonder Woman...fresh with a new deliciously sexy Jenny Frison cover to drool over. A Putri Red Hood & the Outlaw cover is also a stand out, but do not sleep on Artgerm’s Catwoman variant this week either. Oh, did I mention a Mattina Suicide Squad and a Hughes Supes variant as well?!? Mister Miracle wraps up his limited series that has been a blast also. $$$$$$$$$$

On the Independent front, you have the always fun Adventure Time to make us all laugh. Valiant releases Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1 and I always say that Valian titles are highly underrated in the entertainment department. Image pumps out a ton this week including the highly anticipated 2nd issue of Myrder Falcon and Kirkman’s Oblivion Song. God of War, American Gods, and GI Joe. Another solid lineup to put a hurting on yer purse.

Either way, if you are a comic fan...get ready to just fork over your entire paycheck this week as it’s a biggie!!

Wow this week’s bill hurt a ton. Just coming back from SteemFest, I was not mentally prepared for this large week of toys and goods. Per the usual there are a dumb amount of Dragonball Z pieces and Funko Pops. Seems to be the regular thing as of late.

Kotobukiya continues on with their sexy Horror Bishoujo line with a female Ash. There are a smattering of Michael Myers pieces with Mezco’s One-12 line and a Living Dead Doll. Funko’s Rick & Morty figures look particularly fun to add to any collection if a fan of the show. 4...that’s right, 4 different Monogram keychain blindbags to empty your wallet.

Kratos God of War, Kingdom Hearts, Five Nights, Portal 2, Movie Realization Star Wars, Robotech...they all have tasty figures this week. Let’s just take a looksie, shall we...
