New COMICS & TOYS this week at Comic Shops!!! 9/12/18

This week as per the usual, there are tons of tasty goodies to choose from. On the Marvel front...Amazing Spider-Man #5 hits today and has another quick peek of our brand spanking new sick mystery villain that premiered in issue #1. I think they are going to continue this for a bit before setting up a major story arc involving him. Let’s see...

There is also a scary good cover on this week’s X-23 #4. Venom First Host #3 is a must pick up along with the connecting Arthur Adams cover for Fantastic Four #2. If you are a Cosmic Ghost Rider fan, he dons the covers of multiple variants this week as well.

DC throws its usual blend of A list artists doing B covers. Catwoman #3 variant by Artgerm is sure to sellout and be a future hit. Mark Brooks stuns with a beautiful B variant for Detective Comics #988, Putri’s variant for Red Hood & the Outlaws, Adam Hughes on Superman, Jenny Frison on Wonder Woman. Holy shit!!! DC is on Fire!!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥

Indy titles sees Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, Farmhand & Oblivion Song by Kirkham. Along with a zillion other titles to take a peek at including the new MST3K!!!

As far as the toys and merchandise goes, a new Marvel Legends wave with a killer Doc Ock figure. Big surprise...a bunch of Dragonball Z figures which seems like a weekly occurrence as of late, a slew of Funko Pops (which mostly arrived crushed as the genius packed em under heavy boxes), and Harry Potter Mystery Minis!
