Well, let me start by saying that I really do love a large majority of Frank Millers work. Recently it was announced he would be starting on a new YA title for DC's new line of comics. With the current market and attitude of comics, it seemed pretty clear to me that this YA title was destined to be some sort of PC pushing propaganda pamphlet.
So, my reasoning for getting Xerxes was in a small hope that Frank was going to be putting his best foot forward because he knows full well what he's going to be doing for DC in the future. Unfortunately this is not what I got.
