Just got this jewel the other day and it's definitely my new favorite. New Mutants (first appearance of Deadpool) signed by Rob Liefield (Creator) and Stan Lee (Stan fucking Lee)!
I was a little lazy so I just posted a pic from eBay but it's identical, CGC signature series and everything! Sorry, I guess it's just a brag post but I've never owned such a crazy expensive comic book before.
A very nice book. I just had a raw copy that I sold last year. I'd picked it up new on the shelf as a kid so it was a bit hard to let go of, but I needed the money! Maybe I'll buy one like this back someday!
I'm not totally loving the Stan signature just because he didn't really have anything directly to do with the book, but I know it's very common for him to sign anything Marvel because he basically started the whole thing of course. But he could have placed his signature a bit better! Is your copy a bit different? Not directly on poor Deadpool's face?
On a sad note, Stan's wife passed away today, so we comic geeks should keep him in our thoughts more than usual.
