The love for the law: Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies, Psalm 119:98

The prescriptions of God's law have a very deep meaning in the life of man, we can stay with the superficial or try to go further. And this is what Psalm 119 tells us about, this hymn is a devotional psalm towards the excellencies of the Law.
Psalm 119 teaches us that love for the law of the Lord is the source of all wisdom in man. In other words, whoever wants to achieve spiritual perfection, that is the full likeness of God in essence, must first of all, know the ways of the Lord and live according to them.
Because fundamentally the path to wisdom is, first of all, the desire to learn and acquire knowledge: "The beginning of wisdom is the most sincere desire for instruction, and concern for instruction is love of her" Wisdom 6:17.
Wisdom is that hidden treasure that God gives us as a result of intimacy with him, who discovers it, finds true happiness, let's remember that wisdom participates in both science and intelligence. And an example of this was King Solomon who for his obedience to the Lord, in the sacred place of Gabaon was blessed with the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, and discernment.
This is how the Psalm teaches us that whoever is devoted to the law finds true prudence and wisdom to be blessed in life:
"Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
Your commands are always with me
and make me wiser than my enemies.
I have more insight than all my teachers,
for I meditate on your statutes.
I have more understanding than the elders,
for I obey your precepts" Psalm 119:97-100.
And this faithfully following the law means avoiding the path of evil, because those who follow it live against the law and with their backs to God:
"I have kept my feet from every evil path
so that I might obey your word.
I have not departed from your laws,
for you yourself have taught me.
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path" Psalm 119:101-104.
