No, this is not from the Pussy Church. (By the way, that is an actual thing.) It's from none other than the Daily Wire, a right-wing news site. The article itself calls Miss Spain (Angela Ponce) "he" throughout its writing and claims that condemning so-called "cultural appropriation" while praising trans women for winning and doing well in prestigious beauty contests is hypocritical. The author, Matt Walsh, also makes frequent mentions of "the left" screaming at white girls in Moana costumes instead of these supposed "intruders" into women's spaces.

Walsh also makes frequent mentions of "liberals", "the left", and how "a man" stole something that was intended for women and comments on how drag queens create "grotesque imitations" of womanhood. However, he makes the distinction that drag queens live as men offstage and generally don't have an issue living as men while trans women (barring certain situations) live full time as women and thus "appropriate" womanhood and "deprive women of what is rightfully their own".

This article operates under two assumptions: 1) that a trans woman's existence is inherently predatory and 2) that all liberals/left-leaners think the same way when it comes to the concept of "appropriation". It simultaneously reads like a parody of certain styles of left-wing thinking, a parody of certain styles of right-wing thinking, and a post on a TERF blog. In the video, Walsh calls Miss Spain a "man traipsing around in a bikini".

The idea of a trans woman's existence being inherently predatory is common in both TERFs and certain conservative circles. I call this "penis paranoia". It began with bathrooms and now it wormed its way into beauty pageants. This has been proven false many times. The infamous "trans bathroom rapist" of late turned out to be a family friend in a private residence, so, if you're using that story, you've either been misinformed or learned that there's more to news than just reading the headline.

Amid the criticism of liberals saying it's racist to borrow things from other cultures in a respectful manner (i.e. by wearing certain items of clothing in the appropriate context, trying new foods, and overall not being stupid), there are liberals saying "Hey, we're not all like this." Even within certain political groups, not everyone thinks the same way about certain subjects, especially niche topics that deal with specific philosophies. Cultural appropriation and penis paranoia are those niche topics that deal with specific philosophies.
