This sunday service message was taken from Genesis.

Genesis 29:31-35 (KJV) And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.
And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me.
And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.
And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.
And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

The young woman Leah, was given to Jacob as a consolation price. Jacob was inlove with the younger sister of Leah who is Rachel. Jacob labored for Laban the father of Leah and Rachel to marry Rachel but it is in their culture to marry first the older daughter in the family. So Jacob was married to Leah. But there marriage isn't the kind of love story we've watched in the television. It's a story of how Leah endure all the heartaches because his husband was not inlove with her.

God saw that Leah was hated, so God opened her womb and blessed her with sons.

Every name of Leah's son was inspired by her deep desire to pleased his husband. And with her every desire we can reflect our commitment in life.

4 sons of Leah

Ruben
Leah called her first son Reuben because the Lord have seen her misery, and so maybe her husband will love her.

With this we can reflect that we cannot be a christian until we see our old life with the misery in there and look for ways to change it.

Simeon
The second son of Leah was named Simeon because the Lord have heared that she is not loved.

We have to hear the word. The engrafted word of God. You have to gasp every little word of God, engraft it within you, then it becomes part of you. Hearing the words of God is absolutely life changing. If you believe you will see the glory of God. God is not a liar, He sees and hears us.

Levi
The third son of Leah is Levi. She believed that through her third son her husband will become attached to her because she bare him 3 sons already.
Levi means to be joined, to be in connected, to be in focus, to be commited.

You cannot have relationship without reciprocity. You cannot have the true relationship of always giving and getting. What you give back is from what you get. That's the essence of a true relationship.

Judah
This time Leah said in herself "I will praise the Lord because He has been so good to me and blessed me with four sons".
Judah resembles the praising and shouting generation.

Sometimes when we need something or ask something from God we always go to church we become very active. "You are here, wants the benefits but don't like responsibility". We are somewhat like that. We don't like responsibility, we just want our prayer to be answered. Greatness cost what it cost. Our wants cost committments.

List of commitment:
↪Your first commitment is to God. We owe Him a level of committment.
↪Commitment to Family. Commitment does not do with feelings, you do because you supposed to.
↪Commitment to the Church. What do you give for all that you've got?
