A Hope for a Better Community

Before this day ended, It was very much positive to look over the things needed for our Gift Giving event this Sunday (December 17, 2017 at 6pm) (UTC + 8). It was really fulfilling that everything has been done in harmonious manner. Plus, there are a lot of Steemians, Cryptotraders, and Non-Steemians who pledged to join into this humanitarian event.

So I was able to settle a lot of things for this day, and that tomorrow will be the other day to finalize important things. To mention each things done, I'll share this to you :

• We are settled with @itinerantph and @fernwehninja to meet tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. to finalize the venue and be able to ding the office for its preparation.

• We will also be visiting the poorest houses in the area and be able to select six poorest families in consideration to their house, occupation of parents, income, and other important matters. Then, we will make a letter granting us to conduct a gift giving event for these less fortunate families.

• Connected with a very close friend and with her sister @queenjventurer to help us prepare for the Food (Good for 70 people) with drinks, and macaroni salad (Good for 100 people) and assure me that the food will be delivered on time as scheduled.

• We have now achieved the needed amount! Because of SBD pumping up, it enabled us to collect the right amount (Approximately around 18,000 pesos) (360 Dollars)

• The Food expenses is settled. A little bit difference with what we approximated. The thing is we added macaroni salad as a dessert for everyone.

I have also prepared my Steemit Pins!

This is for all Steemians and Non-Steemians volunteers who will be joining the event. This may be little, but this will be a big help for them. Also, I am preparing Steemit Flyers, plackards, and Stickers for them to use. I am thankful to steemit, and I am pretty much sure giving back to the community is a fulfilling job to do as a promoter of Steemit.

Everything changed, because of Steemit and I wanted to let them experience how thankful we are in this platform. This is only not about earnings, but this about family, an extremely healthy community, and an excellent platform for learning. Nothing's much better than this site when we talk about blogging. Yes there are lapses an some noticeable flaws in this platform, but the way it is built is for the community.

We are looking forward for the success of this event. With your support, and with God's guidance, everything is possible. This is also the second time that we, tied up with @steemph.cebu communal account, will be doing community effort to reach out the poorest families of the City.
