Just had my first comment flagged, wondered why, check profile of flaggers, both accounts are "curators" who flag comments and posts to remove voting power from anyone they feel like which leads to their reputation increasing at your expense.
This reduces your reputation when you get flagged, thus reducing your odds of being seen in feeds and for people viewing your post without reading it, makes it look like your post is trash.
Steemit devs, deal with this.
You're losing money and content is being reduced in quality by a LOT.
Dunno how to get this seen, probably will get flagged by those shitbags, but anyone who reads this can now know that there is an underlying monetary incentive in behaving like this.
We are still early in the ecology of this market, but this is a problem and should be solved. Don't let wounds fester.
Names:
buildawhale
iflagtrash
kimjongpoo
minnowboosted
rewardpoolrape
and more obviously.
From the last username, clearly these people are attempting to figuratively "rape" steemit's reward pools.
Also, according to these accounts' rewards history, they are receiving money for fucking up this community forum.
This is a major turn off as a user and I will leave if these people are allowed to continue that and I'm sure others will be frustrated with this issue once they figure it out.
But from a business standpoint, so much money is being funneled to these people that operations within this "company" are being reduced dramatically. So, if I'm to be supporting people who allow this to happen, I'll take my content elsewhere, where it will valued.
So dear Steemit employees, figure this out.
I have my own ideas, so if brainstorming is an option, I will help.
The new cryptomarkets are supposed to be places of growth and innovation. People taking advantage of a faulty system with no means of repair is unacceptable. I will not support a community that doesn't care about its members.
Your post is really great. I found it awesome. I like it. Thanks for sharing with us.
