"Use the writing process of Steemit to find yourself, and establish your substance".
Words that I won't forget so easily from @surpassinggoogle, whom I now look up to as a role model and mentor. If those were the only take away points from the event, I believe my 5 hours traffic ridden trip to and fro the event would be very worth every bit of it.
Arriving the event about 2 hours late, I just knew I've missed a lot, and that I'll probably be the last person to arrive for the event, @steemitboard should have a badge ready for me that reads "The Last-est Man".
Walking into the already vibrant room where I knew close to no one, except my team leader @ejemai. It was very quite relieving to hear @oluwoleolaide call out my name, and offer a warm reception phew
The event was a smooth sail immediately I took my seat. I watched as @Oluwoleolaide boss the event with so much swag, we had the amazing @surpassinggoogle pour out his soul to the audience. Also, I listened attentatively as @sweetestglo-eu explains the whole withdrawal process, from start to finish; @oluwoleolaide played backup to answer further questions, and boy did I ask those questions (still yet to make my first withdrawal).
Then we got more bossing from @Oluwoleolaide as he wraps the event up by answering questions, getting feedbacks; and then an interesting back and forth unprecedented Q & A erupted between @ejemai @Oluwoleolaide and an attendee who was very concern about the goal of the converging communities in Nigeria. @ejemai did justice to the question and many others.
A closing muslim prayer was said and then
Selfie time!!
Many many pictures were taken
It was a fun outing, I just hope Steem-lagos makes it periodic meetup.
A big shout-out to the @steem-lagos team, for making this event happen!
I was there and I must say my eyes were opened..... I think we were seat partners even.... Thanks for this post, as posts like this inspire me. Keep steeming
