I got to meet @dreemsteem!

My favorite part of traveling the country so far is meeting people, and just two days ago I got to spend the day with non other than Steemit's beloved @dreemsteem!

If you've ever had a chance to talk with her, or better yet have her comment on your blogs then you understand the amount of heart and thought she puts into her friendships. At this point, I think it's effortless for her to write three paragraphs under a blog or blow up my discord with messages when we're chatting. It makes me feel so special!

As soon we began to talk about traveling, going to California to meet her was high on my list...but like a lot of hypothetical plans you never know if it will actually come into fruition. So, I was pee my pants excited as our plans were actually working out! Then, if I were to be honest, a little nervous!

As we pulled up to the little town we were meeting at, I turned to @freedompoint and said, "Isn't it crazy that Dreemsteem knows what we look like, but we only kinda know what she looks like?" Because she's anonymous on the blockchain, she trusted me enough to share her picture before, so I had an idea, but she's watched our videos, she knows us!

And as pulled up to the park, I glanced over and sure enough this lady, who looked like it could be her, spotted us first and waved us down!

Then, there's this amazing moment when you meet someone from Steem, someone you truly care about, and you give them a huge hug like you're family.

So, the plan was to tour this ridiculously charming small town. They have this thing where artists painted murals and put hidden pictures in them. Some were super obvious like a cat in plan sight...well if you walked around the corner 😉, but some were impossible! We might not ever know where the alleged "sun burst" is. And no @dreemsteem I still don't think it was the glow from the painted overhead lighting! 😂 But I will accept the "lizard man" as the soldier who's face wasn't clear. We all have our exceptions! Hahaha

At one point we asked a store owner to help us find a corkscrew on the mural of his building...he told us he couldn't because he was on the commitee! He said they would "shoot him right in the head"! Hahaha They take it very seriously! But no worries...@thegreatdayne came through for us.

Then we stumbled onto this little gem that had Dreemie totally creeped out!

Do you see it? Look real close. I'll give you a hint. We were looking for the "Little Girl with a Secret".

Yikes! It's just so disturbing! Hahaha

We finished our visit with our first Mexican restaurant in California.

In the end there was really no reason to be nervous. The visit was full of love and giggles, just like I thought it would be.
