DIGITALIZATION. 70 YEARS IN THE WORKS, THE NEXT MILESTONE IN OUR TECHNOLOGICAL EVOLUTION.

It was summer of 1979. The people from my town brought their own chairs and gathered around at a dusty plaza anticipating the great show of the night, we were about to watch a movie about the French revolution in black and white. The movie would come out of an old and noisy and huge projector.
Even tho the analog signal that gave life to the television was already in place, the understanding of its technology was still unknown in most of the rural áreas of the word, it took lots of television advertising and programming to bring this innovation to every single corner of the planet. The Television was a BIG THING that happened in our technological evolution, and it became the door to another next big thing ; THE INTERNET.

The invention of the computer, as revolutionary as it sounds, didn’t find its full potential until the internet was released in the 1990’s.
As @jeffberwick said, “I had a computer in my closet, and when one of my friends told me about this thing called internet, I went and got it out of there because I realized, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING ...”

Although Television was invented in 1927, it didn’t reach its full potential until the first color television sets for this system were sold in 1954, this event changed everything for the television industry in the 1950’s.
Just as television, the computer invention in 1936 had almost nothing to do with the computer adoption in the 1990’s when the internet was created and almost immediately globally adopted. As you see, almost 40 years had to go by for our human kind to take the next step in adopting the BIG THING that followed Television.

What I wanted you to know has actually nothing to do with the history of television, computers or the internet, but the adoption of all of them.

Although right now BLOCKCHAIN seems to be that old projector that only let’s us watch black and white movies because we are in the “rural areas” of this technology, the fact that this technology was established almost 70 years ago, makes it mature enough to produce the biggest brake though in the history of all technologies.
The digitalization through BLOCKCHAIN technology is unstoppable, therefore inevitable.
