Behind the Scenes of Steemit Hospitality Engagement Platform

So now that the Steemit Hospitality Engagement Platform is in place...

how is it being run?

Firstly, if you aren’t sure what S-H-E-P is, you should check out these posts:

Now that we are all on the same page, let’s get back to business.

In order to keep clarity of what is happening with the @s-h-e-p community accounts, we are sharing this article on how we are running the pages behind the steemit screen.

While currently being operated solely by @coyoteom, we hope that the platform grows to need many more curators and proves to be a useful outlet for all steemians seeking mutually beneficial community interaction (which is what steemit is all about, right?)

Below I present the current work-in-progress system. It’s simple, but it’s something!

Every day, sometimes multiple times a day, our current @s-h-e-p curator @coyoteom is checking the following pages for any updates:

Replies to S-H-E-P accounts here:

https://steemit.com/@s-h-e-p/recent-replies
https://steemit.com/@kin-shep/recent-replies
https://steemit.com/@shep-heard/recent-replies

Newly Created Content in Tags

https://steemit.com/created/shep-heard

After checking these, she double checks the Steemit World Map for any new updates.

By searching the map for both kin-shep and shep-heard tags, she can see if there are any new posts from the @s-h-e-p community that have been logged onto the map. To search the map, simply type which tag you are looking for in the 'tag' box under the filter option, center screen. If there are any posts created with the tag, they will appear. You can also further filter these posts by date to find the most relevant posts.

Anything noteworthy during these searches is then upvoted and engaged with from the relevant accounts, including by curator @coyoteom, boosting the posts from within the community. After this, a resteem and/or a feature through the appropriate wing is completed.

After an abrupt cross-country move, we hope to now be free to create some more content for the @s-h-e-p community and the wing accounts @kin-shep and @shep-heard.

When there is downtime in the day to engage with the communities, it is likely that @s-h-e-p will go through and comment on various relevant steemit posts to spread awareness about the Steemit Hospitality Engagement Platform.

While we have been asked to go on the radiowaves for various interviews, so far timing has not been easy to align. Hopefully soon there will be a more set-in-stone schedule for @coyoteom’s offline life and she can get to some in-depth promotional work.

For now, please enjoy the utility of the platform and get the help you need by asking your community!

Till next time,
Be Conscious, Be Kind
