Community Spirit

It's been over a year since I joined the Steemit revolution and I have to say it's been an interesting ride. I was lucky enough to find an active community in my early days and watch it go from strength to strength.

There have been a few naysayers along the way who don't think the community is active enough or supportive enough, but I think it is what it is. When someone needs something then the community rallies around them to support them.

There have been some issues fundraising efforts made and this has shown the generosity of the #teamaustralia community as well.

In this down-trending-crypto of times, we sometimes become less active and less inclined to get involved. I have seen the number of posts drop dramatically as the rewards potential on Steem drop. It is during these times that the strongest and most resilient communities come to the fore and move forward.

At the moment, the tight knit #steemsilvergold community is holding their 2nd Monster Raffle. They have 'rallied the troops' and called on the community to support the raffle and raise funds for their team.

#TeamAustralia has a number of bots and support accounts that have always been here for community members to access. Whether it's getting the 'dole' from @centerlink or delegating to @mrsquiggle for regular upvotes or accessing @ANZUB, there have been a number of community support services implemented for the great good of the community.

It is now, when the going gets tough, that I call on the #TeamAustralia community to support the community initiatives that are presented. Get active and be active and show your support to the community that has supported you.
