Today is another great and exciting day for the Homesteaders Online community!
Today the Community Knowledgebase goes live!
http://www.homesteaders-online.com/kb
What is the Community Knowledgebase?
In short, it is a community-sourced and community-driven knowledgebase of information centered around homesteading and other topics to educate for the greater good of all. It's a way for us to offer a resource for homesteading how-to on Steemit that's easy to find and sort through.
What are the content requirements?
Requirements? Well, they're pretty lax as of the posting of this announcement. We simply ask that the content be of an appropriate subject matter that revolves around Homesteading or Steemit perhaps, and be 100% of your own creation.
That being said, we want the Community Knowledgebase to be high caliber and give readers the biggest bang for their buck! We want well written, fully complete, and information-rich articles that cover the topic on their own without the need for several parts or posts.
Who decides what gets posted?
We have a group of community members who volunteer their time and efforts to read, review, and vote on every submission we receive via our community's Discord group. These members spend many hours of their personal time to ensure the best decision is made regarding the approval or denial of a submission and that the content lives up to the ideals of the Community Knowledgebase as a whole.
How do I submit my content?
Become a member of the Homesteaders Online Discord community, then submit your article to us on the #knowledgebase-submissions channel.
We don't require you be an active member for approval, but we sure would love to have you stick around!
