Hello Again!

I almost forgot I had a Steemit account. I only just realized it as I was clearing out the last year's worth of bookmarks from my browser. I left almost six months ago because of the distractions of a new job and some issues with the way I saw Steemit at the time. Since I've had some time to step back and take a fresh look at Steemit, I think my misgivings might have been misplaced. I was seeing Steemit through jaded eyes. Now I see that this community is a mirror and the disappointment I saw was not inherent to the platform, but a reflection of my own expectations.

So I think I'd like to give the place another chance. Hopefully, I will enjoy my reflection more this time.
