✨ So Many Project Announcements - Celebrating My 34th Week on Steemit!

It looks like things are beginning to stabilize in the crypto markets, the correction tested the lows this week and held steady. We are starting to see the price of SBD/STEEM trend upward even as the 'main' crypto currencies bounce up and down with no real news behind the moves. In any event, stable and sideways is all we need to keep our vote value and reward payouts steady here on Steemit.

This past week we saw a lot of announcements coming from various DApps and projects the various blockchain ecosystems. From Smoke Network to Vice Network, and Fishbank to EOSTalk, a lot of news was going around and I will touch on most of it below. As usual, I'm staying really busy co-hosting our weekly live events, coordinating contests, assisting with our community building efforts, and spearheading outreach promotional efforts. There have been many advancements in the EOSTalk, EOS Angels, and EOSBits arena - we should see more announcements about these from Fuzzy in the coming weeks.

BeyondBitcoin / Whaleshares

I am happy to be coordinating and judging the weekly art and community building challenges for @OfficialFuzzy. These challenges are a great way to bring people together and spread the work about important topics in a fun way that people will remember. As I mentioned before, I am no longer in the running for any of the challenge rewards since I am helping to coordinate and judge the entries, but I will always participate just for fun to add my point-of-view to the mix.

This past week we continued with a few multi-week challenges and the second in a new series of EOSTalk Meetup Art Challenges that will add to the Meetup Support Toolkit. I am proud of everyone who too the time to participate in the different challenges, these help build the community and open up opportunities for even more people to earn rewards here on Steemit.

EOSTalk Live is Growing Fast

Our LIVE Tuesday night webcast has been gaining momentum over the past few weeks. This week we had a special guest interview with Larry Sanger of Everipedia @lsanger (Co-Founder of Wikipedia) which had our highest live show viewer count to date. We were really happy to have Larry join us in the EOSTalk After party in Discord to continue the discussion and take questions from everyone.

More announcements about @OfficialFuzzy's EOS Angels project which plans to bring an exciting new decentralized venture capital options to developers of DApps being built on the EOSIO software will be coming in future weeks. For those following along with the VICE Token crowdsale, as I noted before, the date was pushed back 2 weeks and is now set for February 20, with whitelist access starting a day early on February 19. The recent double dip in crypto prices as we retested the lows this week it made us all a bit nervous on the timing, but we have 10 more days to go so there is plenty of time for ETH to get back up over $1,000 where we were at on the original crowdsale date.
