ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNITY DIFFERENCES AND OBJECTIVES

in community •  7 years ago

Organization and Community are two different things. An organization is a group of people in a container for a common purpose. The organization is basically used as a place or place for people to gather, cooperate rationally and systematically, planned, guided and controlled, in utilizing resources (money, materials, machinery, environmental methods), facilities, data, and etc. that are used efficiently and effectively to achieve organizational goals.
While the community is a group of some organizations that share the environment, generally have the same interests and habitats. In the human community, the individuals within it can have a purpose, a belief, a resource, a reference, a need, a risk, a passion and a host of other similar conditions. The community is derived from the latter language of communitas meaning "commonality".

From the above explanation we can understand the difference from both. For more details the following are the most striking differences of the Organization and the Community.

  1. Usually official and have a certificate or permit to establish an organization
  2. Number of members many
  3. Has a scattered branch
  4. Wide scope
  5. Have a clear structure and task for each board and its members

Examples: Organization of political parties, Corporate Organizations, OSIS, BEM, Scouts, PMI, Youth Organizations, and others.

Community

  1. Usually unofficial, just as a means of gathering
  2. Usually a gathering place of people with the same interests, passions or talents
  3. The number of its members is not as much as the organization
  4. Has no branch
  5. Limited scope
  6. Members can come and go as they please

Examples: Animal-loving Community, Entrepreneur Community, Vespa Community, Writer Community, Stand Up Comedy Community, Nature Lovers Community, Motor Community and others and community steemit.

Basically, an organization or community is established with the aim of providing benefits to members and non-members. But there are also that actually bring harm to its members as well as others. So, we must be careful if we want to join in it. Follow an organization and community that will give positive value to yourself as well as others.
