CONTENTMENT

We most likely a conversant with this statement in this part of the world;
every mallam with his kettle
The imperativity of this is such that there is contentment in the lives of these people who are from the northern part and are very good and very comfortable with their involvement in every form of menial jobs in the other part of the country, more often than not most of them stay in as small as road side kiosk leading a very peaceful life. Wao! what a phenomenon and an irony as against our very present world.

So that brings us to contentment as a subject. The scriptures say; ...godliness with contentment is great gain. Unfortunately many of us do not even have godliness in it atomic level let alone contentment no wonder we are never satisfied with our own breast, always hunger and thirsting after strange breast in that brings in even worst sorrow than we ever had.

What is contentment?
Contentment literally from the word first simply means the little availability which has met the full need of ones internal desire or wants According to Me Elisedaniels
However, the english dictionary would say; the state or degree of being contended
Secondly; the neurophysiological experience of satisfaction and being at ease in one's situation, body, and/or mind This then means that contentment is a thing of the mind, it is and should nit be influenced by external factors alone but largely of the internal.
Jesus said; look at the birds in air, and the lillies which do not plant nor gather in, but his father feeds them all to the point that even king solomon wasnt even a match for the flowers.

Folks contentment doesn't mean you shouldn't strive for excellence but wherever you are at such time of stuggle, you should learn to be content believing and enduring hardship with hope that the future would be better.

We live in a society that has trivialise hard work and celebrated robbers, thieves, fraudsters and ritualist, dubious politicians and liars at all levels and brand and more and this has resulted to lack of satisfaction. People ate not contended with the present, they want yesterday, today and even tomorrow which they cant see all to themselves. Painfully the church or/other religious bodies are not left out as we have heard clergy kill and set themselves up for their stomach sakes. We now have more of god of men rather than Men of God.
Contentment is what makes you sleep with your too eyes closed not the abundance of what you have gathered.
