Before we jump into this, can we get some more details on the changes to the code? Also , I`m not crazy of the name. Sounds like something inclusive, or collectivist. It should still be called Steem, at least in some fashion. If you do not keep it as STEEM, then this is a defeat. You are just creating an alt coin.

    STEEM is a registered trademark, it's not possible to keep the name. I really love HIVE but it's hard to come up with a name that appeals to people from all over the world.

    I think it would be appropriate to name the currency Honey or Nectar.
