interesting since google is used for everything like maps and so on I doubt they will be beaten anytime soon.

Now youtube that is interesting, with vidme just dying and other things popping up like this site Steemit things could really change. Youtube should look into partnering with Steemit in the future it might help with suporting content creaters in the future. Though youtube is still not making a profit yet for google as fair as I know.
