Caring and Kindness

Life becomes special when we have our loved ones around us. When someone cares for us we always feel very special and I always keep talking about kindness and compassion but what actually it is to feel it. While I was away on my trek, I had constant support of my family and friends and this really made me feel very special and in a way my journey was also easing out. When you know that there is someone back out there who is waiting for you, who is worried for you, then that's a precious relationship we hold with them.

For me the most important person of my life, my hubby, is always besides me supporting me whether he is physically around or not, but he never fails to show is love and care for me and that's what makes my life worth it. It makes me realize how I have invested in my relationships and what it is giving me back in return.

We do not do good things with an expectation of getting the good in return. Kindness is an act which is natural when you care for some one and that's what you are investing in a relationship. Kindness does not only need to be shown to our loved ones, but a little bit of kindness even shown to strangers who just come in our life for a short time will leave a deep impact at our soul level.

I was really touched in the last few days to see how so many people cared for me when I was away on the trek, they were worried for me, if my journey is going proper or not, if I was eating well, if my health was good. All of this really made me very emotional. In times like this you also come to an understanding of how many real genuine relationships you have in your life and with god's grace I have ample of them, which I would always like to treasure for life.
