KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES?

So many people seem to be consumed by constantly trying to one up everybody else, feel bitter when others reach their dreams or do better than them. Wasting the energy they could use to build their own life by destroying others. Living their life for others benefit, not for themselves. Trying to impress people around them, not themselves. How silly is that?

We all experience these feelings sometimes, it’s a human thing to do. But try to snap yourself out if it, it’s not becoming to you at all or helping you get where you want to go, achieve what you want to achieve. Remember that all you see of their life is the end result, not the amount of work, risk or sacrifices it took to get to where they are. Nor do you know if where they are brings them happiness, fulfilment and joy. Maybe they are battling heavy things in their life eating away their peace or maybe what they achieved is not what it seems from where you are sitting. Don’t measure yourself or your success in life by using the measuring stick of others. Only measure it based on your own. What brings fulfilment to one might not bring it to you. Other peoples success does not take anything out of your own, nor will their misfortune make you more successful. Jealousy and bitterness will only create toxicity within your soul, within your being. It doesn’t help you to attract anything positive or good into your life. Quite the opposite.

What if you decided to celebrate others fortune as if it was your own? Be happy they worked hard and reached their stars?

Rather than be consumed by bitterness and envy, try seeing others thrive as a fuel to push you further and as a reminder that nothing is impossible for you either!!FLOWERS.jpg
