Canadians, Show Me Your Dream House!

I am still on the mend, I should be resting, I know, I have an unhappy hubby whenever he sees me reaching for the phone 😂 But I miss typing nonsense on Steemit. Man, addiction sucks, hey 😂

I was just reading and upvoting a bit on Steemit and a friendly name popped up on my screen, asking how I am doing. That's really kind of him. I was kinda surprised TBH, which I shouldnt have, a cat person is always awesome (I know a dog person would dispute that tho😂). Thank you, Sir 👍

Lucky I went online, because the invitation for this year's gingerbread house competition is out! I cannot miss that! My family and I love building gingerbread (for competition) so much, too much even! 😂

Oooh I so cannot wait!

For some years now, there was never a theme, so we made:

• Enchanted Village
• An Igloo
• A Witch's house
• A bakery in the form of a doll house

Last year I made this Village In The Cloud, inspired by Cloud Atlas, the movie. It was our first year entering vegan gingerbread.

This year tho, they set a theme of Canadian Dream House

In between pain, nauseating feeling, and cons...meh let's censored that 😂 I am drawing blank.

What would you say a Canadian dream house is like? Help me with some ideas please 😂

All I think about is roof with croissants, pretzels, candies, cookies, and whatnot, but that is Hansel and Gretel's story, not even an Canadian origin 😂
