Whats the best method for cashing out some SBD in Australia. 100% upvote for best answer

Hello @teamaustalia I was wondering what the most efficient way is to turn SBD into Aussie Dollars.

This will be me my first time ever withdrawing a little SBD and I am unfamiliar with the best way to go from SBD to money in my Commonwealth Bank account. I want to get the best deal that I can obviously by avoiding high conversion fees. Sucks that I need to cash out a little with the recent unrelenting price drops. Hopefully the price comes back up a bit before rent is due (Friday)

Sort Order:

First send your SBD to bittrex.
Then SBD->LTC
Then LTC->AUD in market.
And then send AUD from market to your bank account as AUD. The easiest way.

The best I've seen is a 2-step process using livingroomofsatoshi.com and blocktrades.us

  • Setup the payment using livingroom, and choose the crypto you want to use (livingroom isn't accepting steem for the moment, or it would be a 1-stepper).
  • Once you've got that done, you will need to transfer whatever the crypto is (I've been using Litecoin) to the wallet specified. Leave that window open, and open a new one to blocktrades.us
  • on blocktrades specify the Steem Dolloars to convert, and choose the crypto you're converting to (Litecon etc..), and the amount.
  • Enter the receive address, being the one on livingroom, and follow the transfer instructions..

Once completed, the livingroom tab will show successful transfer (it may take a few minutes of nervous waiting), and the money should get into you account within a day or two.

SBD from Steemit to Bittrex
SBD to ETH at Bittrex
ETH from Bittrex to BTC Markets
Withdraw ETH to AUD at BTC Markets

I don't have a good answer, but I'm glad you asked, so I don't have to!
