Working As A Salesperson/Technician

in computer •  7 years ago

So Steemit approved my submission and now i can finally write something on it. Was gonna write some topic about "How to survive and bargain in LOWYAT" but i guess i will write it at another times. First of all English is not my main language so there will be grammar mistake here and there so hope u dun mind about it. If u wonder where is LOWYAT well its located at KL and beside Sungai Wang or Times Square.

My work involve around serving customer and sell them computers or anything my company have to offer while also providing solution to computer problem, well not so into software bug but those hardware problem etc. As Malaysia's economy is not doing great, most(not all) people only have a limited budget on what they gonna spend so helping to maximize the price/performance is what i do everyday.

I gain happiness from customer satisfaction and most of the time i do love my job except for Job Time but i will write it in another Topic. I love to help customer to get what they want, especially those looking to build a new PC RIG, as my first computer (A Pentium 4) that bought by my Grandpa( passed away) is what started my interest on building computer, buying part and assemble yourself, going to LOWYAT to survey for parts, and now working full time at the shop that i shop regularly, isn't that a little bit ironic?

But just to clarify, going to LOWYAT is a quite "dangerous" place without surveying the market price or without any computer knowledge, as Salesperson rely mostly on commission to survive(me included), you are most likely to get scam or pay more for what u get if u meet greedy salesperson. Better tag along with friends, from what i seem, a alone customer is more easily to get persuade to close the deal compare to a gang. (But I'm not the one chopping my customer so as long as the deal can close fast and customer are happy, then I'm happy too).If u buy from me i tend to give a discount too, how much is depend on the COST of the item.

When working u tend to expose to those grey area and problems. Not gonna say i love my job 100% but it should be around 70%+, overall met quite some good customer and learn alot from them while giving and providing knowledge and information to newbie customer on better buying decision.

Haha If you wondering whats the PC specification of my computer there you goes =D
