CHINA BANGLADESH ALLIANCE TO DIVERT BRAHMAPUTRA TO SETTLE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN ASSAM.
Guwahati, 25th December : China and Bangladesh has entered into a strategic alliance to divert Brahmaputra to start a resource war against India. The Bangladeshi and Chinese designs against India converge in Assam and is against India.
People's Republic of China at first denied the very existence of Bangladesh and had used its first veto power in 1971 in UN Security Council to veto against the recognition of Bangladesh. Later during the anti India Bangladesh Nationalist Party regime of Begum Khaleda Zia , China and Bangladesh upgraded their relationship to Strategic Level against India.
The then Chinese Premier Wen Jiabo visited Bangladesh in 2002 and established a strategic military alliance. This strategic military alliance has constantly taken anti India position.
The Chinese support to Bangladesh in any questions over the fate of millions of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrator's in India and Assam is the biggest concern for India. The 2002 Wen Jiabo's visit to Dhaka shifted the focus of the alliance against India. The Resource War doctrine of geopolitics was adopted by the alliance against India which has been proved by continuous studied silence of highly agricultural hence water dependent Bangladesh in Chinas massive projects to divert Brahmaputra.
The historic earth summit held at Rio de Jenerio , Brazil in 1992 identified Bangladesh to be under severe threat from rise in sea level due to global warming. The Bangladeshi Govt and strategic community has taken two approaches to move it's vast population to Assam in India and Arakan province of Myanmar which has resulted in Rohingya crisis in Myanmar and illegal foreigners crisis in Assam.
As Assam is very restive over illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, Bangladesh with China has entered into the strategic move to apply the Lebensraum or Living Space Approach to control Brahmaputra. This move will create massive geographical change and create large number of riverine islands in Brahmaputra river suitable for settlement of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. The devastation of Assam's economy and ethnic balance thereby destabilising entire North East India which serves China and Bangladesh is the prime focus.
China's pathetic defeat in perception front in Doklam imbroglio and India's active geopolitical diplomacy in Tibet and South China sea crisis theatres has hardened Chinese stance regarding Brahmaputra diversion. Its repeated refusal to share hydrological data regarding Brahmaputra is part of this stance.
Brahmaputra's imminent diversion and destruction of ethnic communities can only be prevented by an international, national and state wide consciousness campaign. And for this purpose "Jagok Aru Jogauk" is launched which will reach various stakeholders using different media. As part of its campaign it will write to Prime Minister of India and C.M of Assam to raise the Brahmaputra issue at appropriate forums.
