Republican Garret Graves who holds the current sixth district that includes Baton Rouge is likely to lose his seat as a result.
Louisiana Republicans didn't have many options available. If they didn't comply, the court would draw it for them. And Speaker Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise both have seats that could have been affected by the court order. So they sacrificed Graves.
Dems will almost certainly pick up a seat here.
