Rainy Saturday Showers Sunday Some Sun Monday
A rather miserable Saturday is underway as we watch the next round of rain move up the coast. The tropical connection continues with moisture from the Caribbean extending northward into New England. Rain will last at least into midday for the southern edge of the rain shield could exit out of Baltimore in time for the Preakness Stakes. For us rain will continue into the afternoon before becoming a bit more showery in nature. The onshore flow will keep temperatures in the 50s today but temperatures will start to inch higher late today and tonight as a warm front goes by.

The radar shows a fairly solid shield of rain moving northeastward. Rainfall amounts could total over an inch in areas from Southern New Jersey southward where Flood Watches continue. 3 day rainfall amounts in some areas from Southern Pennsylvania to Maryland have been in the 3 to 5 inch range in some places with lower amounts from Central & Northern New Jersey to Southern New England.

Sunday should be a bit of a better day and a warmer day with some breaks of sunshine through the clouds. Temperatures could reach into the 80s away from the coast. A cold front coming through in the afternoon could set off a couple of showers or a thunderstorm. Then we get to see one dry day on Monday with some sunshine with highs in the 70s.

Showers will be back later Monday night and on and off into Tuesday night with the next warm front cold front combination moving through. Temperatures will be into the 70s Tuesday. Once that cold front passes we may actually string a few days of nice weather for Wednesday through the end of next week.
