Reminds me of "The Hero's Journey". Great attention to detail and very informative!
The Hero Monomyth is related indeed. It is an ancient story of progressing from a crisis, which can be the recognition of a false aspect of reality, corrupted, by facing it in ourselves, and venturing into the depths of the underworld to face the demons in ourselves, and defeat it and become like a "god", apotheosis, to return to a "new world", created different from the "old world" that once was, but a better new improved, "heaven", paradise, "eternal" "immortal" life. It is all symbolism about self-knowledge. Yet people don't understand language, symbols and reality and think eternal life, immortal life, paradise, heaven, god, deities, are some actual existent things existing somewhere else... it's all symbolism, metaphor, allegory, parables about life and ways to live. The battle of good vs. evil and how and why to choose good over evil. People are lost in lala lands of believing whatever they want to believe.
