It's common for me to see this behavior, parents literally tell their children kiss family when they are leaving. I said to the child in my own family that he or she did not have to do that and I've changed it in a high five.
In one thing the woman in the video is right, when your always told what to do or say, you don't learn what it is you want or don't want (autonomy).
That's I guess why there are so many sheeple that do what they are told because they are taught that, to do what you are told is social or good.
