Water Ecosystem

in conservation •  9 months ago

Maintaining springs is an important step to ensure the availability of clean water and protect the surrounding ecosystem. Springs are sources of water that come out of the ground naturally and play an important role in providing water for daily needs, agriculture and wildlife. Planting trees and plants around springs can help maintain water quality and quantity. Plant roots help filter water and prevent soil erosion. Apart from that, it is also necessary to avoid cutting down trees and keep forests intact in water catchment areas, as well as planting plants that can cover the soil surface to prevent erosion and increase water absorption. Determination of protection zones around springs also needs to be considered to maintain the sustainability of spring conservation and management.
