I wont use "preferred pronouns"

I do not care how someone decides to live their lives. I honestly don't. I'm not going to tell you how you should live your life and in return all I ask is that you don't try to tell me how to live mine. If you want to be gay, straight, transgender, or any of the myriad of other new sexualities that exist now that didn't 10 years ago... I say "go for it." However, I am not going to play this silly game of words and altering the rules of the English language.

I don't remember how I came across it but I ended up finding about about how the actor that played The Flash was getting into a bunch of legal trouble in Hawaii. It was probably because of an article linked to an Amber Heard story or something.

While I was reading the articles about how Miller keeps getting in trouble with police in Hawaii I thought that the author was missing some key elements because the article stated things like "Miller got into an altercation at a karaoke club and they threw a chair at the couple," and "police had to escort them away from a hostel on March 29.

The whole time I am reading this I was thinking about either the author of this article is an idiot or they forgot to include who the other people involved are. It kept talking about "they" and "them" but there was only one person involved in the complaints: Ezra Miller.

I don't like to make judgements about people but I think that if you are continually abusing your fame and money thinking that you can attack people in public with impunity that you are probably not of sound mind. I also kind of think that people who deviate further from normal sexuality roles are also not of sound mind and in this case, Ezra seems to fit the bill of both.

I had to look up the wiki in order to find out that Ezra identifies as "queer" but doesn't use the label "queer" which is only further complicating things. I don't really even know what "queer" means and I am not going to look it up. When I was a kid it just meant homosexual but apparently it is something different now.

Again, I do not care what your sexuality is. It isn't any of my business. I will treat you just fine if I am around you and if you assault me at a karaoke bar you are in for a real surprise but then again I have no desire to fly to Hawaii and I can't stand karaoke so it's safe to say that Ezra and I are unlikely to meet.

I can't get on board this changing of pronouns thing though and really can't understand why there are people out there that want to complicate the lives of others. It's confusing reading an article that is referring to one person as they/them and I will not do it.

If you want to invent a new sexuality I say go for it. It doesn't affect my life at all and I wont allow it to. I draw the line at people attempting to force others to alter the English language though and I get a little upset when I read articles that cower to this really silly notion that people can change how they are referred to. According to the wiki at one point Ezra used the "zir" pronoun and all i gotta say is I absolutely refuse to play this game.

There are some strange people out there and I am happy we don't have any of this weirdness where I live.

I believe that your freedom to live your life how you please stops when what you are doing infringes on the lives of others. I will not call anyone "they, them, zir," or any other strange made up thing that people come up with.

I'm not trying to say that i think that being gay or queer or whatever thing they have going on now that I don't even know about is wrong or immoral. I honestly don't care how you live your life but I think pronouns aside that Ezra better get his shit together before he gets dropped by Hollywood. Right now he is doing a pretty good job of accomplishing exactly that. You made it - you have a lifetime of frivolity ahead of you and all you have to do is not be crazy. Maybe you can manage that?

"Pronouns" is an excellent example of privilege. You have so little problems that you invent a new one for everyone.

That being said, "they" is very useful to design someone. Unlike romance languages, there is no "neutral" way to design people. So when making, say, instructions, "they" is useful

In normal speech or when reading something, "they" referring to one person is just confusing as hell.

usually, the context can tell. I guess it takes practice
