Double Agent - Did I miss something here?

The nerve gas attack has lead to the expulsion of diplomats. But are we glossing over some basics?
Have we watched too much James Bond to ask simple questions.

2 little things bug me even before my brain contemplates these actions.

  1. He was a DOUBLE AGENT. If I was a double agent and I have been doing some dubious actions for both sides, or more, surely, I would have pissed off alot of people. Right? Wouldn't I have a target on my back by many different agencies?
I don't often see a job advert; DOUBLE AGENT WANTED.
Wouldn't you be skirting the word "Traitor" at any point when you are selling secrets?
Why are we not exploring this guys role more? We kill suspected terrorists with drone strikes - what did this guy actually do?

  2. England is full of CCTV cameras. Face recognition is now entering our technology so I assume that it was been used by governments for longer. Surely, they can work out who was around during the time of the "attack".

I hear this crap everyday on the radio when my alarm goes off. The radio station out rightly hates Trump and just glosses over this spy stuff like it is nothing to be a SPY, let alone, a DOUBLE AGENT!!

Unless they can trace the poison directly to Russia, I think they are overreacting. Did you know that have that same nerve gas at Northwestern University? Russia had supposedly destroyed their nerve gas??
Unless tested I am uncomfortable about the blame game. With the NWO, neocons and military industrial complex itching for a world war, well, this may start it.

Yes!!! Agree!!! All a distraction from other issues.
