The Double Sided Lenses

Paranoia and pronoia represent two sides of the same lenses- crafted for the distortion of your perceptual apprehension and interpretation. Depending on how you look through these lenses you will have a radically different experience, but either way be constrained to assumptions of interacting with an Other (whether that is a shadow government or your “higher self”).

On the one hand, paranoia paints an image of sinister mechanizations designed to keep the masses enslaved and entrained through “predictive programming” (yet somehow you can break free by watching youtube videos), and on the other hand, pronoia produces pleasant manifestations of patently token and banal spiritual affirmations (because you raised your vibration and have really shiny chakras and stuff).

In the modern meme driven internet era, both sides of these lenses somewhat fall under the same umbrella term “woke as fuck”, and despite the tendency for these world views to ultimately alienate one from their friends, family, and livelihood (unless in a cult and/or making money by duping others into buying into cult-like mentality), both paranoia and pronoia deliver a short and mighty high of being in the know.

We are not denying the possibility that occasionally one may, specifically or generally, be targeted by malevolent or benevolent forces- though in all likelihood that is rarely the case, and especially when handling synchronicity, it is best to take off these lenses of perceptual management; to see from a position of unassuming clarity. So much is filtered by layers upon layers of prescribed belief conditioning that reality, especially when dealing with more subjective types of phenomenon, is so easy to give up on in favor for whatever random hysteria or fad is trending at the moment. Ultimately the lenses of paranoia and pronoia is of no more value than a fashion statement- a way to mutually confirm your branded interpretation of experiences with others or as an attempt to set yourself apart; the truth is, no one trying to sell you these lenses really cares about you beyond reconfirming their own perception or worse, profiting off of your diminished discernment and autonomy.
