*1900: The Last President*- Is it something?

in conspiracy •  7 years ago

Rumours about the book 1900: The Last President being predictive of Donald Trump’s presidency have been circulating for several months. There have been posts about it on 4chan and Reddit, among other sites I am sure.
I first learned of it listening my favorite podcast, The Higherside Chats.
Who doesn’t love woo?

Here are some of the 4chan posts:

I was in no mood to debunk the bunkery, but when a PDF link for The Last President presented itself I had to at least skim the book.

While time travel is always the Very Best Woo, at this stage I am only attempting to address whether or not this book is “prophetic”.

It takes place in Chicago and in NYC, after the election of a young common man’s man for president. The unrest is likened to the unrest around Trump’s election, but I’m not seeing it.

One of the things that’s brought up in podcasts is that the the book mentions a Fifth Avenue Hotel. This is likened to Trump Tower, and people have even said that Trump Tower and the Fifth Avenue Hotel were at the same address.

At the time the book was published, in 1896, there was indeed a Fifth Avenue Hotel in NYC.
This hotel, demolished in 1908, was at 200 Fifth Avenue.

Trump Tower is at 721-725 Fifth Avenue.
The Fifth Avenue Hotel was known as a Republican stronghold (see Wikipedia link above); the Republicans are the opposition party in this book.

Not mentioned specifically in any of the conspiracies I’ve seen or heard is the actual order that the newly elected President Bryan signed. It can be found on pp 17 and 18 of the book. Being the cause of the revolution, this order is relevant.

In the order, the newly elected President Bryan writes against the gold standard, calling instead for a "parity" standard.
While parity isn't mentioned much anymore, we certainly hear about the gold standard, and Trump is definitely for that.

I’ve also heard that the August 21, 2017 eclipse is mentioned.

On page 14 of 1900: The Last President there is a prophesy “that the 4th of March would never dawn on the American people.”

This is the relevant passage.
No eclipse is mentioned, just a dark gloomy day, indeed with “no dawn”.

President Bryan in the book and President Trump seem to be political opposites, there’s not a significant coincidence between Trump Tower and The Fifth Avenue Hotel that I can see, and the eclipse in the book isn’t.

If I’m missing something I’d love to hear about it.

To end, this vid I found on YouTube breaks down the time-traveler aspect of the theory.

Enjoy.

And have a beautiful day!

You did. You missed the first book, the adventures of barron trump. That's the second book. also, the book is compellingly predictive. to brush it off would be silly, especially with the other book.
