Yo @talltim, what's the prob dude? @zer0hedge always gives editorial credit when and where it's due, and goes out of his way to make that very clear. I read the real Zer0hedge too and i am in no way slighted by what @ zh is doing here. Maybe pick a more relevant battle?

Cheers! from @thedamus

If you think 99% of someone elses work counts as original content on Steemit, then I can't help you.

Read the thread I linked in my post - I'm not the only one that agrees.

I am not questioning the fact that it's not original content, people don't have to read it or upvote it, i'm just saying that i don't mind seeing Zh articles "resteemed" here.

I agree that it would be better received if the re-post was accompanied with some thoughtful and penetrating analysis -- but maybe that's what the comments are for.

Cheers @talltim!

I think it matters that he doesn't have any permission from the site itself, or the authors he is copying from. Just because its convenient, doesn't mean its ethical.

If he declined the payout, that would change things - but he hasn't, ever. Its clearly a ploy to use the brand identity of a site to reap benefits from the reward pool. I don't support that, at all.

Well he does advertise for the site... i'm sure Tyler would be thrilled.

But i understand your point, and accept its validity, even if i don't agree.

Cheers talltim!

How about you find me an article that report about this on steemit, post the link here and I'll upvote it 100%.

I've got my hands full making original content.

You know, the kind that you rip off and pretend you're providing a service for.

Yeah, because the effort you put into it is what matter not whether there is demand for it or not.
I get were you're coming from. I hope you get to find your niche audience.
