Soon chips will be everywhere
Italian cheese manufacturers have started adding microchips the size of a grain of sand into cheese heads to prevent counterfeiting. The information stored on the chip can be checked by a scanner to verify the authenticity of the product. The Italians are sure that eating the chip is safe, since the data from the eaten chip cannot be read, and therefore it is impossible to track down who swallowed it. Other industries are also planning to use similar chips, including manufacturers of medicines and auto parts.
