The Second Amendment relates to the ability of the People, now and then, to be capable of the militant overthrow of nonrepresentational Government. This mandate was constituted by necessity in order to complicate and then ruin any Government's desire to wedge itself between our freedoms and our Constitutional rights.
Now We, the People, have not only lost representation in the halls of our current Government but the rationale our Founding Fathers had to war against the British has been exceeded by our own present predicaments.
Americans are struggling against a Government that would disarm us in every manner. We have found ourselves politically disarmed and without hope. What Government could do is no longer a reasonable or rational question. Our Government is now no different than a corporate monopoly and the People are disallowed from receiving what was Constitutionally promised.
This Government and its supportive machines are incapable of true Constitutionality. It is for that reason that the Second Amendment's promises will become removed or ignored by this corporate monopoly. Chris Hedges would have us lose this Constitutional battle without a fight because we, The People, are unworthy of militant trust. His excuse is based on the recent murderous acts of psychopaths.
Hedges and Biden are together on this issue, and it's plain to see that neither will give us representational Government. We will be made to grovel for less and less until we are entirely enslaved. It may be too late, but Hedges' conspiratorial behavior only makes our chances less.
A shame that this man doesn't understand our Constitution.
