Home Nation: A Review on our home builder

Congrats on your new home and kudos on not letting that company get away with anything. I bought a home similar to yours a 29'x40' with a standard 4/12 pitch some years ago and they also cut corners and wiggled out of upgrades we asked and paid for. the biggest problem we had was the 1500.00/hr fee plus fuel to hold a large dozer onsite in case the crane got stuck. It was not in the contract but added to the price, and the crane cracked the basement wall in two places that we did not see until after the house was placed. Seems to be common place to cheat customers in this day and age.
