Friday morning he had about 2 hours to work before the rain started. He didn’t put down any more tarpaper, but instead, started running shingles on the porch. This is as far as he got.
The wind came up in the evening and we wondered if there would be tarpaper left on the roof by morning, as we listened to ladders crashing to the ground and the wind buffeting the house.
But outside of a pile of plywood blown over, the insulation tipped on its side, this little bit of tarpaper was all that was harmed.
