Surprise Dug out work on a Sunday

I was really surprised, as was my husband to see the foundation contractor at the build today. We went and had lunch and then went to do some window furniture shopping. And on the way back home we saw this going on.

Now that the footer has set they are digging out the crawlspace. So exciting to see work being done today. I really like when people teach their children their trade. Our foundation contractor has been teaching his son his trade for the last couple of years. I have to say it must be cool to have a dad that owns an excavation company, really big digging toys to continue playing with. I am super excited that work continues to be done even on days I don't expect work to be done. But I guess they are trying to get the work done before rain hits later in the week. Hopefully everything will be ready for the house in a week to ten days cause this girl is ready to see her house on the land and not just looking at a photo shopped image of my home.

I really hope we are in the house by Thanksgiving I don't want to cook Thanksgiving dinner here and if we haven't moved I think I will skip it this year, cause I have all my bigger small appliances like mixer and roasters packed away already. We are suppose to have the keys on the 13th I don't know if that will happen or not because of the weather. I am really hoping for a forecast change. (If any of you readers work for HARRP I won't be mad if you bring good weather to Indiana)
