Hi Simon,

off topic:
I wonder if you have simple herbal remedies that can replace expensive pharma pills.
people in Venezuela could save some money, but they need to be simple enough, and made from sources they have actually available.

Maybe 1 or 2 good ones?

I will think about it.
Off the top of my head, right now, just locally there is tribesmen who work in society and commercially produce a liquid for export that is called 'Gumbi Gold'. Made from an indigenous berry called gumbi gumbi, it is Australian and do not think it can be found in the Americas. Perhaps you might look to your equivalent to our CSIRO, and check the possibilities of importing either seeds for growth or cuttings or young nursery starts. Read up on it via google. Venezuela will have some jungle remedies and University libraries are usually very good places to begin research, but often also one might take day-trips out to remote villages and talk with the elderly of their local practices.
--I know very little of the S.American country's native flora, but another research source might be a N.American university specialising in (a) Venezuela, (b) native remedies. But be careful in your search there to not get misinformed by the commercial Pharmacopoeia Co's.
I will gather what I have access to and get back to you. [Be first to import Gumbi Gold 😉 -help my local tribesman 😂]

thank you for the tips,

These remedies have a lot of value , in times when shit hits the fan.
I'll also try to let Venezuelan people write up their own remedies. But i need a few nice examples to inspire them. :-)

Thank-you. I have thought on our earlier posts, but a wedding 12000 miles away has slowed communication somewhat and some people with whom I am normally in contact are away this w/e. Yesterday for instance I went over three hundred km west into the bush with a young couple to keep the peace between a brother and sister older than 25yrs. (go figure¡). And back again is 600km of bad surface roads which can be rather tiring, with beasts and wild animals to avoid as well. Google search info on domestic use of - lemon, baking soda, and the microwave oven for purposes other than cooking or reheating food.

all in good time...
