This article explaining the Invisalign ranking system simply wasn't good enough for this New Jersey based dentist. If you don't get the point of these posts, read my introduction.

Both doctors and orthodontists are suited enough to give Invisalign treatment to straighten your teeth. The main concern when finding an Invisalign dentist in Clifton, NJ is the experience level of the doctor. Fortunately, Invisalign has their own dentist rating system so that you can get it straight from the horse’s mouth.

Understanding The Ranking System

The ranking system is based both on the volume and the positive feedback rate. If your Invisalign needs are very extensive, a highly ranked Invisalign dentist in Clifton, NJ would be needed for custom jobs. If your needs are relatively simple, then even lower ranking doctors should be suitable enough.

The Preferred ranking is given to relatively new doctors that give around 10 cases per year. These dentists may still be of high quality as other factors may indicate why they have a low volume of patients.

A Premier dentist is one who administers 25 treatments per 6 months and has had a minimum of 50 treatments in total. These are just a slight step above a newbie dentist, but they are starting to prove themselves.

A Premier Elite dentist would have had over 300 patients in total with a volume of 50 patients per six months. These are the minimum to look for when you need a more advanced Invisalign procedure.

The Super Elite rank is very rare as it only applies to dentists that have shown exceptional performance. Not only is volume taken into account, but also superior customer satisfaction. It is estimated that only around 1% of Invisalign certified doctors will have this rank.

Hopefully, the above will help you understand which ranks to look for in an Invisalign dentist in Clifton, NJ. It should be noted that elite level rankings may also significantly raise the price that a dentist can charge. Newer Invisalign dentists should be just fine for simpler procedures.
