Who am I?

So I decided to join the untalented contest after reading several even though am not a writer

According to Myles Monroe (Rip) in his book the 'Power of vison' if you are educated but have not developed your talent, you are likely to be depressed, frustrated and tired, and I think I used to be.

Who am I?

I AM STILL FINDING ME
Do I really know me?

Being the 6th child from the family of 7, I couldn't go to boarding school, because my family tradition is this after primary school, you will go to boarding school, but mine didn't happen because I wanted to stay in Lagos, I was very timid while growing up.

I then started going to the salon beside my house, since I was always all by myself, just so I could be seeing people, along the line I developed a passion for making hair and the salon became a part of me, but then my father realised and refused completely and was like, how can his daughter be a hairstylist he seriously warned me never to visit the salon anymore, but since my passion was there, I kept going, one faithful day he came back early from work and saw me there, that day I saw hell on earth, he flogged me seriously and punished me, sometimes I get punishment like using my knee to crawl to and fro in my compound my knees would be bleeding, it continued like that but that never stopped me from the salon though, I kept going and receiving punishment, it became a part of me.

I later got enrolled in a government school by my mum though since I refused boarding school, then during my SS1 I wanted to get another pair of uniform I asked my mum and she was like, well you know I sell water and you will have to sell too, I will place you on commission, she sells one tank in 2days, I had to sell water too, then a tank is sold for N3000, then she was like I will deliver N2700 and pay myself N300, I did that for 2weeks and money for my uniform and tailor was complete, then I resigned. Lol.

After then my mum said, you have to work for whatever you want that's how you know the value of what you have that kept me going till now, I cherished the uniform so much then.

I didn't make my complete O'level in the government School then, I had to rewrite waec which I saved up money from peoples hair I was sneaking to make at that time N18000, I was 16 then.

After my exams I went to computer school for a 9months to get certified in Desktop publishing.

Fortunately for me my elder brother opened a cafe, and he was still schooling then and I was asked to manage it, since I was still seeking admission, I was placed on a N10000 salary then, before you know it I had spent 3years at the cafe.

I wrote jamb 3times, passed 2times and post ume was always sending me back home, I got fed up at that time and wanted to start a salon in front of my house, my father strongly disagree again and eventually enroll me in a school of statistics, to study statistics, without even asking me, what do I know in mathematics, i then made up my mind to actually learn and do well, I started school, the money I saved for 3years finished before the section, because I wasn't getting money from home, I was left to my faith

Immediately after my diploma I got a job in a law firm as a PA\Secretary

I then had to further for BSc even though my friend forced me and got a form for me.
I got admitted to university of and completely began a new chapter of my life and failed my way through till almost my final year, I became totally depressed and starting wondering what life has in store for me, I want a good life, good education, live a life of impact, travel the world for free, but how can I give what I don't have?

Some of my friends do say am good in speaking, and motivating people and I will keep telling myself, how is that possible have not been able to motivate myself, to do the things i should be doing, people want to see results and not reasons anymore, because humans are goal oriented.

Will finish my update in the next post
