When we are talking about beauty of the body in a photography, my opinion is - we must show the body in a best presentation, but with a minimum, as possible, of retouching. Otherwise it is beauty of imagination - not of the body.

Why do people make nude pictures ? Of course there are many answers. For me one of priorities is a form seeking. To make correct well exposed photo is not difficult. It will be clear but ... boring. There are millions of nude photographs, but photographers are still searching for "something". This was my searching of unexpected deformation. Just by using wide angle lens.
