Come all ye seekers of fame and fortune. Try your hand at creating a masterful tale of fantastic realms and ferocious beasts.

Rules for Fantastic Fiction Contest #1
- You must submit an original story of your own.
- Story should be between 500 and 1500 words.
- One entry per contestant.
- First tag of your entry must be #fantasticfiction
- Your post must be titled as follows: Fantastic Fiction #1 - [Your Story Title]
- Winners will be determined wholly by me based on creativity, originality, and quality.
- Entry must be PG-Rated. (Mild violence ok, no love scenes--keep all that to yourself)
- You must upvote this post to enter.
- Once you have posted your entry, come back to this post and put a link to your post in the comment section.
Prizes for Fantastic Fiction Contest #1
- First place will win 15 SBD plus the fame and glory of having won the inaugural contest.
- Second place will win 10 SBD
- Third place will win 5 SBD
Deadline and Details for Fantastic Fiction Contest #1
- Deadline is August 21st, 2017 at 8 A.M. MST (UTC -6)
- I'm biased toward character driven stories based on fantasy or sci-fi.
- I reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is inappropriate--please keep it clean.
- It would be really nice if you resteem this to get the word out.
- Winners will be announced August 25th along with proof of payout.
